The Single Permit is a unified residence and work authorization allowing non-EU nationals to legally live and work in Bulgaria under one streamlined procedure. It combines the right of residence and access to the Bulgarian labor market into a single administrative process, issued in compliance with EU Directive 2011/98/EU.
This permit is suitable for foreign employees, managers, and specialists who have secured employment with a Bulgarian company and intend to reside in Bulgaria on a long-term basis.
